Agraj Nagarkoti (1999), born in Dehradun, is a visual artist working with photography, printmaking, video, and performance. She received a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Communication from National Institute of Fashion Technology and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Photography Design at National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar. Her work is characterized by bold visuals, abstraction and a process driven approach that explores transformation.

She frequently interacts with cultural narratives in her practice, which centres on identity, queerness, and the exploration of womanhood as a trans woman in India. She is interested in impermanence, fragmentation, and the body as a site of personal and collective memory. She embraces unpredictability, imperfection, and erasure that comes with the process of creating, something that is never fixed but constantly shifting. Her investigation of the self, body, and belonging is influenced by the works of artists such as Ana Mendieta and Bhupen Khakhar.

In addition to her visual art, she has a strong interest in dance and music. She competes and performs locally as well as internationally, and she is an active member of the ballroom and underground street dance communities.
