The Transitional Being is a projection-based performance created in collaboration with artist Devansh Krishnatray, who designed the sculptural costume featured in the piece. The performance explores the imagined evolution of my body through three stages—the born-in being, the transitional being, and the final being.

The performance acts as a question, posing whether there is ever a singular, true form of a person, or if the body is forever caught in a state of becoming. The work reflects on the body as a site of tension and negotiation, where multiple versions of the self coexist, overlap, and compete. In doing so, it asks whether the idea of a final, complete self is ever truly attainable or whether we are always existing within a transitional state.
